Stewards of Children training at the Levin JCC

March 13, 2017 by bethel Leave a Comment

Child sexual abuse crosses all socio-economic boundaries, cultures, races, and religions.  The great news is that by learning how to prevent, respond, and work together, we can make our communities safer places for our children.

Madeline Seltman, MSW/Director of Engagement/Authorized Facilitator of Stewards of Children of the Levin JCC in Durham will be offering a community training on April 28, 2017 from 6:30-8:30PM.  Sign-up is open to all adults and you are invited; there is no cost for this event.  Please spread the word, space is limited and your registration is required. Sign-up here by clicking the button for ‘Class Trainings’.  Follow us on Facebook for other events and resources.

If you are interested in offering a Stewards of Children child sexual abuse prevention training for your organization please let me know.  More information about our local Darkness to Light Initiative to end child sexual abuse can be found here. Madeline and I are available for questions regarding the upcoming event.

Thanks to the Levin JCC for offering this valuable practical prevention training with a conversational, real-world approach.
