Membership Simchas are sweeter, sorrows are lessened, life is more meaningful when lived together

Thank you for your interest in our community! Beth El is more than just a place to worship.  We are a warm community that comes together to learn, to pray, to do mitzvot, to celebrate, and to support each other—and the surrounding community—through life’s joys and sorrows.

We believe life’s joys are sweeter when we celebrate together. We believe sorrow is easier to bear when we are there for one another. We believe that the Jewish tradition offers wisdom to help us live more meaningful lives. Come join our family as we journey together.

We welcome you to join us for Shabbat services, and we invite you to stay after to enjoy Kiddush and give us the opportunity to meet you.

Our Executive Director, Jodi Salomon, would be happy to talk with you about our community, and to answer any other questions you might have. Feel free to fill out this short inquiry form or simply call our office at 919-682-1238.

“…a short and heart-felt note of thanks for your kindness and making me feel welcome to Mira Pickus’ bat mitzvah. I felt a deep sense of inclusion — of being at home with family. Throughout the weekend and into today, I find myself reflecting upon and resonating with the experience — the ceremony; its context within Judaism; and the readings from the Torah
with its accompanying written commentary on the text.”
