Volunteer at Beth El

Without volunteers, there would be no Beth El. Our members teach classes, help out in the office, run Social Action projects, lead and coordinate services, take care of the synagogue grounds, and determine the future of our congregation. By sharing their time and energy, Beth El’s volunteers make this community possible.

There are more than 400 members of Beth El and there are so many ways to get involved. Do you want to greet people to our community on Shabbat mornings? Be an usher! Do you want to support families through difficult times? Consider volunteering with our Community of Caring and/or Chevra Kaddisha. Do you love addressing envelopes? The office could always use your help.

To get involved, and to learn about the range of volunteering opportunities available, contact the office.

Much of this volunteer work is coordinated by our committees, including Lifelong Learning, Synagogue Life, Youth Activities, Social Action, Ritual, Chevra Kadisha, Buildings & Grounds, and Finance and Membership. For a complete listing of committees and current committee chairs, check out our Board of Trustees page.
