Putting Some Seder / Order in the Siddur/ Prayer Book

September 21, 2016 by bethel Leave a Comment

Putting Some Seder / Order in the Siddur/ Prayer Book: Siddur. The Prayer Book. We use it every week but it can be so confusing! Why do we skip from one series of pages to another? This class will try to put some seder/order in the siddur/ prayer book by exploring the history and meaning of Shabbat and weekday prayers! We’ll also begin to explore Siddur Lev Shalem, a new siddur of the Conservative movement that we’re considering adopting for use at Beth El!
Meets Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9pm at Beth El. Class starts September 15th.
$36 per semester for members $72 per semester for non-members
Instructor Rabbi Greyber
