The Jewish Annotated New Testament: A Panel Discussion with Marc Brettler & Amy Jill-Levine
In this panel discussion about the publication of the second edition of The Jewish Annotated New Testament, editors Marc Brettler, Bernice and Morton Lerner Professor of Judaic Studies at Duke University and Amy-Jill Levine, E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Professor of New Testament Studies, and Professor of Jewish Studies at Vanderbilt University moderate a panel discussion with scholars Yaakov Ariel (UNC-Chapel Hill), Mark Goodacre (Duke), Richard Hays (Duke Divinity), and Bethany Wilson (Duke Divinity). Join us for an exciting discussion regarding the publication of this remarkable book, as well as emerging issues in Jewish-Christian biblical studies. This event is made possible by the Duke Center for Jewish Studies, the Department of Religious Studies, Duke Chapel, Duke Divinity, the New Testament/ Judaic Studies Colloquium and the Hebrew Bible/ Old Testament Colloquium.
A reception will follow the panel and a book reading and signing is scheduled with the editors at 7PM the same day at The Regulator bookshop in Durham.
