JELF Information for Distribution in Your Jewish Community

February 9, 2017 by bethel Leave a Comment

JELF grants interest-free, need-based loans for higher education for Jewish students IN YOUR COMMUNITY.  We want to ensure that Jewish students in your community know how to apply.

From March 1 until April 30 (and later in the year as well — Sept 1 – 30), the JELF application for the 2017-2018 school year will be available at jelf.org.

You can help empower others about how they can get an interest-free student loan by doing any of the following:

  • Post the attached blurb about our loans to your social media pages to let people know.
  • Use the info we’ve provided to add a blurb to your website, newsletters or other announcement opportunities.
  • If you work for a school or Jewish communal agency, you should receive a small stack of JELF posters via snail mail in early-mid February. Please place these posters prominently at your institution.
