Hebrew Level I and Hebrew Level II with Donna Goldstein

Hebrew Level I: This course focuses on learning to read basic Hebrew words. No experience needed. We will also address some prayerbook reading.

Hebrew Level II: This course will continue working on reading skills started in Hebrew I. We will also incorporate siddur study to enable students to feel more comfortable with Shabbat services. Ability to read comfortably is a requirement for this class. Conversational Hebrew will be introduced.

About Donna Goldstein (Instructor): Donna Goldstein is a retired Band Director from New York with 35 years of teaching experience K-12. She taught Music in the American International School, Kfar Shmaryahu Israel from 1986-87. Upon returning from Israel, Donna taught Hebrew Language in two different Hebrew Schools along with her full-time job. Donna also studied Ulpan in Israel and in the United States. She is a new transplant to North Carolina and is thrilled to be a part of the Beth El Community.

Registration is currently closed for this semester.
