Shabbat 25 gives the community chances to connect with Beth El throughout the 25 hours of Shabbat. On Shabbat 25 weekends, we begin on Friday evening with a 6:00 pm service led by Rabbi Greyber and featuring the melodies of the late Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach. These services are followed by a special community Shabbat dinner.
On Saturday afternoons during the summer months, following regular Shabbat morning services and a kiddush lunch, we gather for study after the meal. When the days are shorter, we take a break after lunch, instead, and then gather in the late afternoon for study, seudah sh’lishit (the third Shabbat meal), singing, and Havdalah.
There are currently no Shabbat 25 programs scheduled.
