FREEDOM SONG TICKETS

This transformative musical shatters the myth of Jews being immune to addiction. Interweaving a Passover Seder with personal stories of addiction, Freedom Song poses the question, “What are you a slave to?” and offers both audience and cast members the opportunity to answer. Cast members are in recovery from addiction and come to Durham from Beit T’Shuvah, the renowned treatment center in Los Angeles. Appropriate for adults and high-school age youth, Freedom Song illuminates the real life struggle against the bondage of self that we all fight every day.
