Join Orit Ramler, author of The Box of Life, A Guide to Living with Purpose and Preserving What matters Most, for an inspiring presentation. In her book, Orit explores the powerful art of memory preservation, including stories shared by Beth El members—such as Rabbi Sager’s reflections on his mentors. She will be joined by a few Beth El members who will read their stories from her book. Through this session, you’ll be inspired to think about your own legacy: What will someone discover about you if they open your 'Box of Life' 100 years from now? Come ready to reflect, connect, and be inspired to start preserving your story.

About Orit Ramler: Entrepreneur, Executive Coach, Author

Orit was born in Israel and raised in South America, she lived in seven different countries. 

Orit obtained a master’s degree in educational psychology and began a career in the Jewish community, leading one of the largest Jewish youth movements in Argentina.

Her leadership in the Jewish Community continued when she moved from Argentina to Durham, North Carolina in 1998. Orit became the Director of the Jewish Community Center Without Walls and served as the Executive Director of the Durham-Chapel Hill Jewish Federation. 

She then turned her focus to the coaching world, becoming a certified coach. Today, Orit is the Director of coaching for DELTA Leadership Inc. as part of Duke’s FUQUA Business School Executive MBA, among other institutions. She serves on the Board of Visitors for the Duke University School of Nursing, where she shares her coaching and consulting expertise. She maintains an active private coaching and consulting practice working with clients in a wide variety of industries and organizations.
