Building Community Resilience – Ancient Readings on Modern Challenges

How can individuals and communities cultivate resilience in times of crisis? The story of Hannah, the mother of Samuel, exemplifies a woman who, despite her struggles, chooses to take charge of her life against all odds. This session will focus on Hannah’s journey, examining Talmudic interpretations of her biblical story and exploring how the sages of the Talmud used her narrative to establish principles for communal resilience after the destruction of the Temple.
