Knitting Chavurah Update
We are thrilled to share a heartwarming update from the Beth El Knitting Chavurah. Esteemed member Gladys Siegel recently presented a comforting shomrin blanket to Shula Bernard for the Chevrah Kaddisha on November 20, 2022. This thoughtful gesture, made possible through the collaborative efforts of our dedicated members, will provide warmth and solace to those fulfilling the sacred duty of shomer at the funeral home.
In the accompanying image, captured on the left, we see (from left to right, foreground) Shula Bernard, who also contributes to our knitting endeavors, alongside Gladys Siegel. In the background, standing tall, are Lois Ryen, Edy Parker, Hunter Levinsohn, Andree Allen, and Sharon Halperin. We extend heartfelt thanks to Sabina Sager, Sue Slatkoff, and Lois Sobel for their invaluable contributions to this meaningful project.
