Join us for a casual gathering to build a supportive community of remote workers. 

Women may be presented with situations where they may need to handle a gun in self defense unexpectedly. Many women have never handled a gun. Do you know how to safely disarm/lock a gun found near children or dropped nearby during an active shooter incident? What’s included? Classroom time learning about guns, locking devices, safe storage - then participants will work with trained teachers in the target firing range to get the “feel” of shooting a gun, should the occasion arise. (Knowing how to effectively shoot a gun is like CPR – a skill you hope you never need to use, but can be life-saving only if you know how). This course is NOT about gun advocacy or long-term gun use. That is an individual decision.Cost: Sisterhood is subsidizing this course, to offset the cost of teachers, gun rental, ammunition. Fee includes: gun rental, ammunition, private teachers, and insurance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
